Honest answers to the questions that matter
What if the AI gets a number wrong?
Before saving, the bot shows what it recognized — vendor, amount, date. Any field can be corrected in one tap; nothing goes into the sheet silently. The original receipt is kept alongside the row, so you can always see where a number came from.
Is this yet another tool we'll have to roll out?
No. Employees send receipts through the Telegram they already use, and the accountant keeps working in Google Sheets. No new app, no new procedure.
Can it handle multiple companies?
Yes. If you have more than one company, the bot asks which one a receipt belongs to, and files it into that company's sheet and folder.
Can I send PDFs?
Yes. You can photograph a receipt or send a PDF file straight into Telegram.
What about data security?
Receipts and sheets live in Google Drive and Google Sheets — the same infrastructure most companies already use. Data travels over an encrypted connection, and only you have access to your records. Every receipt's original is linked to its expense row.
Will this work with our accounting?
Yes. At setup, the bot asks about your companies, countries, currency and categories, and builds a sheet around your process. Categories and statuses can be edited directly in the sheet afterward.
We already have an accountant. Does Bugi.ai replace them?
No, and it doesn't try to. Filing reports is the accountant's job and responsibility. Bugi.ai handles what usually lands on their desk in the worst shape: a box of receipts at quarter's end.
